30 hour Nursery places.

At present all three and four year old children are entitled to up to 15 hours a week free early year’s nursery education, however from September 2017 some working families will see their entitlement increase to up to 30 hours per week.  This additional free childcare is intended to help families by reducing the cost of childcare and will support parents into work or to work more hours, should they wish to do so.

We are now pleased to say that the Government’s online eligibility checker is now available for parents to log on to check their eligibility:-
We would kindly ask that you log into this website to check your eligibility. As soon as you have done this please bring the following information into school:

  • Your 30 hour eligibility code
  • Yours child’s date of birth
  • Parent/s National Insurance Number
  • Written consent from yourself in order for the school to verify your code

We will not be able to confirm your child’s nursery place with us until we have all the above information and Derbyshire County Council have verified your code.
